Title: Killing of elements
Post by: pradeep on April 20, 2015, 07:07:03 AM
Hi,

I want to model a bio degradeable material and to achieve that i would like to kill the elements on the surface slowly as time increases.
There is a command "EKILL" in ANSYS.
I would like to know if there is a similar feature in FEAP.

We do not currently support deletion (killing) of elements in any automatic way.  One can use the ACTIvate and DEACtivate commands to add/remove predefined element sets.  Consult manual for details.
