Title: How to specify boundary restraints on one line in three dimensional problems
Post by: hustzjy312 on December 20, 2012, 09:21:06 AM
Dear all,

I want to specify boundary restraints on one line of a surface not the whole surface in a three dimensional problem. However, based on my knowledge about FEAP, 'eboundary' and 'cboundary' commands in 3D will specify boundary restraints on the whole surface.

Thanks a lot.

Yang

This is not a built-in feature.  The best way to do this would be to write a user mesh command (a umeshXX.f file).

Thanks for your kindly reply. Could you please tell me the built-in program for generating the mesh?
