Title: A question about plastic deformation
Post by: YunfeiWang on April 20, 2017, 12:22:48 AM
Dear Prof and Admin
The principle of plastic deformation is the slip of slip plane and finally results to dislocation and twins in one body. So How does FEAP defined the slip systems in plastic module? And which program files(Fortran file) compiled them in FEAP 8.4?
     Thanks
     Best regards

Get a copy of Simo and Hughes 'Computational Inelasticity'.  It explains the basic types of plasticity models used in FEAP.  For files look in elements/material/finite and elements/materials/small.  Note FEAP does not have single crystal models.
