Hello,
I am having some graphical problems while running a 3D simulation with a Linux system.
Is there any better way to visualization stress?
Please check the attachment for details.
Thank you !!

Thank you for the reply.
Still, I am having the same problem.
Is it possible to extract the data file from FEAPpv and visualize it in some other tool?

Can you post a minimal input file that will re-produce the error along with the exact commands you are issuing to make the plot.
Also what version of FEAPpv do you have, which OS version, which compiler version?
Regarding visualization in other programs, we do not have that in FEAPpv.
The full version of FEAP has a paraview output option but there is not one for FEAPpv.
You can of course write the entire solution to the output file: stress, all ; disp, all etc.
and then parse it yourself. Jonathan Wong has some started code that may be helpful

Thank you, Prof. S. Govindjee, for the reply.
I can solve the visualization problem with the suggested commands mentioned in the first reply. Earlier I wasn't correctly using commands.
Could you please guide me to the procedure to get the full version of the FEAP?
Is it available through lease or perpetual basis? My supervisor is looking for this information.
Thank You!!

See http://feap.berkeley.edu/wiki/index.php?title=Obtaining_FEAP for some basic information. The license is perpetual for the version that you license.
