Title: TPLOt Option - RSUM
Post by: gcongdon on July 08, 2022, 01:27:39 PM
Hello,

While reviewing the TPLOts keyword in Appendix D - Solution Command Manual of the FEAP User's Manual, I came across the rsum option which does not appear to be defined. I had a look in program/ptplot.f, to try and identify what the option does and how to use it, but I got a bit confused trying to trace through common variables/other variables defined in other files. What does this TPLOt option do exactly? Is this automatically summing the reactions for all coordinates in the model?

Regards,

GC

See Table 14.2 in the manual.

Code: [Select]
rsum, n1, n2, n3
will sum component n1 of the reaction force on nodes n2 to n3.

This is defined in Table 14.2 along with other options
