Have you done a literature search (Google the topic to get additional information).

In general, feap does not currently support very much adaptive mesh refinement.

Thank you for your reply,I didn't find relevant information on google,I would like to know how to make a free vibration analysis of a 2D planar structure with an adaptive mesh,Attached is my input file.
I would appreciate any advice.

Feap does not include adaptive mesh refinement.  You could use a BLOCk or BLENd mesh and refine your mesh easily.  See the user manual for details.

We have implemented adaptive mesh refinement into FEAP and ParFEAP.
However, the effort for such an implementation for ParFEAP is high.
