Meaning of stype variable in feap 8.4
« on: October 25, 2017, 11:21:24 AM »
Hello, I want to output the stresses from the subroutine sld2d1.f in feap8.4 . However I can't figure out what is the meaning of the variable stype which seems to control the output. Especially in case where stype=8 it seems that a routine for 3d stress is called. Why is this the case?

stype is the geometry type: 8 means it is axisymmetric with torsion, so has 3-d stresses.
