CFD with Taylor Hood Form
« on: September 18, 2021, 01:10:18 PM »
Hi,

Does anyone receive reasonable results when using the Input-File Appendix A2 of the fluid manual?
The Taylor-Hood formulation for me returns a zero right hand side vector and displacements.

Best Regards.

That's very strange... i only get a black contour plot window, do you receive an image?
Also triggering command show U at the end of the solution just outputs zeros.

I have madea clean install of the current version, and the problem persists. Maybe i'm missing something, because solid elements work without any problem.

You have to build special version in fluids directory

Well okay...  ::)
Is there a reason why the elements are not coupled to the standard main directory?

They are just prototypes for you to try -- and have not been integrated at this time.
