Hello,
The tied interface option is very useful in handling non-conforming mesh and applying domain decomposition techniques for large-scale problem.
It would be great if it could be extended to other element types in both 2D and 3D.
3D implementation will increase the scope of problems (large scale structures) and allow problem size reduction by selective discretization.
