Dear All,
Assume we have one brick specimen. we are prescribing displacement boundary conditions based on experimental data. The experimental data are displacement values of some points at the edge of the top surface and the bottom surface. Therefore, when I set up displacement boundary condition to the real mesh of the brick specimen, I need interpolate the edge values for the middle nodes. Therefore, I decide to use CBOU, CSUR, and CPRO. I set the values of CSUR are equal to 1 and the values from experiment are given in proportional loading files, see the input file in the link.
Those command are working and the input file can run. However the result that I obtained is larger then one supposed to be. For example, for the first time step, the experimental displacement is around 0.0001. However, the numerical results of the top and the bottom surface larger than this one.

I am wondering whether this way is right and why it is not working well.
Thanks a lot.
