How to define the displacement boundary restraints
« on: February 19, 2016, 03:32:40 PM »
Hi Everyone,  how can i define the displacement boundary restraints for the entire body or the edge of the body in feap,

e.g.  temperature field  (scalar value in thermo-mechanical problem),  theta boundary restraints:  -20 < theta < +20

best regards,

jakob

Try using CSURface, this permits the specification of boundary codes and values along polar edges (which is what it appears you are interested in).  Look in Appendix A of the manual for details.
